Patient Journey

Moving qualified patients from quiet research to a high-quality consultation.

Most patients spend weeks in private research before they're ready to schedule. A website waits for them to be ready. A book reaches them while they're still deciding capturing prospects who'd otherwise stay silent, and preparing the ones who arrive.

The Method

Real patient stories. Real science. One coherent guide.

/ 001

Patient stories that move the reader

Every Practice Story book is anchored by real patient stories — drawn from testimonials, case studies, and the journeys your patients describe in their own words. Stories give the book recognizable lives the reader can identify with. They carry the reader from chapter to chapter and turn abstract clinical material into something the prospective patient can feel.

/ 002

Clinical explanations that earns trust

Patient stories give the book its emotion; clinical explanation gives it substance. Practice Story translates your philosophy, your treatment approach, your science, and the reasoning behind your decisions into language a prospective patient can understand without feeling talked down to. Honest about what the evidence proves — and what it doesn't.

Decision guidance without pressure

A prospective patient considering elective care is making a complex decision under emotional weight. Practice Story books include frameworks for how to weigh the trade-offs, what the procedure actually involves, what recovery realistically looks like, and how to recognize the difference between a good fit and a wrong one. Education, never persuasion.

One coherent patient guide.

Patient stories alone read like testimonial marketing. Science alone reads like a textbook. The Practice Story formula is the integration — stories that draw the reader in, science that earns their trust, and an editorial voice that holds both together as one coherent patient guide.

Your most durable marketing asset.

Practice Story books are evergreen marketing assets — educating prospects, preparing patients before consultations, and converting pending treatment plans. One investment, working for years.

Founder-led from start to finish.

Every engagement led directly by Dr. Drew Williams — a former multi-location practice owner who built this model from inside private practice, where he saw what websites and ads couldn't carry.

The Experts

Built for private practices where patient decisions unfold over weeks or months.

HIGH CONSIDERATION

Patients arrive at the decision slowly, never on the first visit to a website.

They research in private, return when the question still matters, and choose the practice that helps them feel understood before they ever schedule.

Real Investment

The decision involves real money, real time, and real consequences.

Before patients commit their money, time, and future outcome, they need to feel that the practice understands what is at stake.

Shared Decision

The decision involves spouses, parents, and adult children — not just the patient.

The patient may be the one receiving care, but the decision often lives inside a family conversation shaped by cost, timing, trust, and shared concern.

frequently asked questions

The questions practice owners ask before they apply.

How long does the full process take?

The first complete editorial draft is typically developed within 30 to 45 days of starting the engagement. From there, refinement continues through your review and feedback. The full system around the book — website offer, CRM setup, follow-up sequences, and fulfillment — is built in parallel and launches alongside the finished book.

What does the strategy call cover?

The strategy call is a 60-minute conversation with Dr. Drew Williams to confirm fit on both sides. We discuss your practice's patient journey, the categories you serve, the patients you'd most like to reach, and whether Practice Story is the right partner for the work you want to do. No sales team, no scripted intake — just a direct conversation about the engagement.

What if the book isn't producing results?

The partnership is month-to-month with no long-term contract. If the work isn't producing more qualified leads and high-quality consultations, the practice ends the partnership and the system stops. The model is structured this way intentionally — Practice Story only continues to earn if the book is doing real work inside your practice.

Who owns the book?

The practice owns the rights to the finished book and its contents at the completion of the first 12 months. If the practice ends the partnership early, an agreed buyout covering the remainder of the first-year balance transfers full ownership immediately. During the engagement, the book is treated as a shared editorial product — built together, refined together, and used inside the practice from day one of launch.

What does the practice need to provide?

Practice Story works from your existing material — patient testimonials, case histories, website language, recorded consultations, and your clinical philosophy. The editorial interview with Dr. Williams captures what isn't yet written down. The practice doesn't need to write, edit, or produce content; participation is limited to interview time and review of drafts.

How are patient stories handled?

All patient stories used in the book are drawn from public testimonials, your case histories with appropriate permissions, and material the practice approves. Identifying details can be modified, composites used where appropriate, and every story is reviewed and approved by you before final publication.
